ImageMixer 1.7 for camera JVC does not work with Vista

Hello,

i have a video camera JVC GR-D73 (4 years old) and used ImageMixer 1.7 on PC with Windows XP. No problem with this configuration.
I have a new PC with Vista and ImageMixer does not work. I have tried with Windows Movie Maker, but it does not work.
Is there a solution to transfert my video from the camera to my PC ?

    ImageMixer 1.7 for camera JVC does not work with Vista problem, and notify you when a new solution is offered.

    I have a JVC Model No. GR-D73AS.

    I have a problem now when I install a software of imageMixer 1.8 USB Driver with Vista system.

    i didn't have a any problem when I installed with XP system last year.

    Image Mixer v1.7 does not surport vista it came with My JVC GR-DX97EK digital camcorder how can i solve this

I had exactly the same problem. I was using a USB cable, as I had done with Windows XP. However, when I tried using a DV cable instead it worked no problem at all, and i was able to use Windows Movie Maker, so no need to install ImageMixer. Hope this helps. Tony

wrong connection! you must use firewire to stream video and audio from your cam-make sure comp has connection-called 1394-on cam it's called dv and get proper cable and you will be fine-usb only for pics

I have the same camera and the original CD ROM. You need ImageMixer 1.7; it handles both USB and IEEE1394 (FireWire) transfers. The only place I've found to get it is from JVC
