My lcd screen is blank as soon as i turn it on and it want do anything

I can't find manual, but I try to help you anyway.
On lots of digital cameras there is a power safe function. If you put the camera in power safe, the display will not go on. Sometimes it is just the display button on the back of the camera. A little button with an arrow to the right.
Please check in the menu's.
Then there is this nasty thing called battery. The battery (Batteries) can come fresh from the charger, that indicated the battery is charged and still the battery does not have enough power to let the camera work. Try charging the battery again and if you have a spare use that one. Even if you don't use the camera, make it a habit to take out the batteries and charge them at least 2 but better 4 times a year. Off course always charge the battery short before you use the camera.

I have a blank screen so can not use it to take a picture

Are you able to see old pictures and menu?I mean when the camera is in non-shooting mode .If so then blank screen generally appears due to the problem in CCD which is the general technology used in imaging devices.
If it is blank all the time and there is no display then the problem is with your LCD screen .You should change that. Please get back to me in case you need any other clarification

How to clear overscreen (icons, numbers etc) from viewing screen

Hi,
Depending on the camera model, usually depressing and/or holding a button down turns on or off a function and may clear the function off the viewing screen. On a lot of cameras this is on the menu button. Sometimes it is also individually done but each function for instance the flash function can be turned on, or forced turned off by the button, and also the display will ad or remove this from the screen. There may also be a DISPLAY button that turns off these functions in the view screen. Every camera is a bit different. If you have the manual, you can always refer to it. If not also check the manufacturer's website for a copy or customer support. Good Luck.

Turning off recordng message.

You can turn the display off during playback mode, however, if the display was on during recording, that cannot be turned off. . 1. Press the DISPLAY button on the left side panel. 2. Each press of the button toggles the OSD function on and off. When you turn the OSD off : * In CAM mode: The STBY, REC, EASY.Q modes are always displayed on the OSD, even when the OSD is turned OFF and the key input is displayed for 3 seconds then turned off. * In PLAYER mode: When you press any Function button, the function is displayed on the OSD for 3 seconds before it turns off. Turning the DATE/TIME on/off * The DATE/TIME is not affected when the OSD function is switched ON or OFF. * To turn the DATE/TIME on or off, access the menu and change the DATE/TIME mode.
