Saw quite a few of these. Have you tried taking the battery and Sim out while the phone is still on? did you try to flash your firmware on your Razr? there is one firmware will mess up your keypad, but all you have to do is apply keypad flex and it will work again. A friend recently updated his firmware and had to re-apply flex, works fine now. Good luck!

I own LG VX8360 and can't figure out hoe to turn ringer on. Can you help me?

To restore the ringer it will depend on what mode your phone is in:

Vibrate Mode:
Sets the phone to vibrate instead of ring.

To set Vibrate Mode, with the flip open, press and hold the # key .

To return to Normal Mode, press and hold the # key again.

Sounds Off Mode:
Quickly deactivate your phone's sounds when you're in a place where phone sounds would be disruptive.

From standby mode with the flip open, press and hold the lower side volume key for 3 seconds. To return
to normal sounds mode, press and hold the upper side key.

Airplane Mode:
Turning on Airplane Mode will disable all wireless communications.

1) With the flip open, press the Menu key.
2) Use the Directional Key (top center of phone) to scroll to 'Settings and Tools'.
3) Press the 6 key for Phone Settings.
4) Press the 1 key for Airplane Mode.
5) Use the Directional Key to highlight a setting, then press OK.

Problem with flip on Sony W350 phone/walkman

Virus, check the software or datas that you download, or if possible delete all that what you just downloaded, see if it will back to normal, if not if the problem still persist, then check your phone if theres any virus on it,

your last result if still there, then let the technician check your flex wire

Disable v-cast key

With the phone closed, hold down the multi-function button on the lower-right side of the phone for a few seconds; that will lock all of the buttons on your phone until you either a) open the phone, or b) hold down the same button for another few seconds to unlock the keys.
To the best of my knowledge, there's no way to set the button to ALWAYS be disabled when closed; you have to lock it every time you close the phone.
NOTE: Locking your keys can create another problem, at least on my phone, where I've disabled the option to anser a call by flipping it open (I prefer the option to view the caller and ignore it if it's not a priority). When I receive a call with the phone locked, I have to wait a few seconds after flipping the phone open before pressing the "answer" key; if I answer too soon after flipping it open, the phone tends to lock up for about 30 seconds, which obviously kills the call.

Purple light will not stay lit

I signed up JUST because this solution worked:

"Hmm this may sound like a stupid solution that doesnt work but what i did is...,

#1 I Held the button to make the violet light go on
#2 when the violet light is on dont just flip the boom mic, flip* the earpiece with it.

*note: when fliping the mic and earpiece, dont open slowly, flip it open fast and keep it there." I do want to note that my passcode was reset to nothing during my 3 months of troubleshooting.

Not going to mess with it.

Network data

Dont be stupid... you dont have to call anyone... ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS, hold the top left button (the one one that looks like three little bars) and with the screen flipped open press the letter L on the keypad. So while holding the top left button hit the letter L.
