When the projector starts all I get is a white screen. The lamp light is a steady green which is good. There are no red lights indicating there may be an issue. The sound works for all of my inputs. Please help Thannks.

I believe that's an overheat problem. Check the fan if it's cooling properly. Make sure the unit is in a cool temp room.

press the help button on remote for 8 to10 second contineos for reset projector

1,white spots appeared on screen,means the DMD is broken,you need a new DMD.
2,the projector running off after only a few minutes,means the Inductor (Sensing element),near the Color Wheel. Use a cotton swab moistened with alcohol to wipe the Inductor.

Replace the new lamp, Green few seconds indicator blinks and then red indicator blinks

Hi, Replacing the lamp in a Sharp LCD projector requires the lamp indicator to be reset. When the lamp needs to be replaced, the indicator becomes red. Resetting the counter for the lamp hours to zero will also reset the indicator to green.

Attach the power cord to the projector and plug it into an electrical outlet.

Step 2Locate the buttons on the top of the projector and simultaneously hold down the "Enter", "Menu" and "down arrow" buttons, then press the "Standby/On" button.

Step 3Continue holding all four buttons depressed until the lamp indicator light begins flashing green.The counter is now reset. Zero hours will now be displayed on the screen.

ballast is not striking the lamp and needs replacing

my suggestion that unit is faulty and i recommend that you bring to the service center for repair that unit.

Thats the projector telling you that you need to replace the lamp. Lamps usually lasts for about 2000 hours so if you had it for a while you may need to replace it.

Purchased our76C in Jan, 2007. It is our second unit now that has had the same symptoms. When the unit starts up, the Power light is steady green as normal for a few minutes, but no image is projected. After a few minutes the lights do as you described. Both times Epson support authorized a new unit to be shipped out immediately. They said they had no known issues about it and didn't indicate what was causing the problem. Apparently it is not just the lamp wither. Also, the lamps both had under 20 hours on them.
