Monitor color my monitor has an amberish tinge, which distaughts all other colors. I sent it back to the manufacture,as it still was under warranty, it was sent back with an ok sticker, so l tried it on a friends pc and it works ok. Then l phoned my pc maker, who suggested a total system recovery (this l have done), l have tested every drive every device they are all working correctly, there are no conflicts, but yet l still have a color problem. WHY????

Mostly is because the video card is defective, try to replace with another video card, and see whether the new one works fine.

I lost the receipt of purchase of my LG L177WSB monitor..Now i have a problem with the monitor..it is not displaying colours porperly...Can I know the warranty of my LG monitor by means of serial number?

Assuming your complete model number is L177WSB-PF then this may be under warranty. On the sticker on the back side there should be a date that is the month and year it was manufactured. If this date is less than 3 years then you are still under warranty.
Before making a warranty claim on the LG website I would recommend verifying that your video cable is securely connected to both the monitor and the computer. If the cable is connected securely and the colors are still off try another video cable to see if the problem is that.
If the cable is changed and the colors are still off then you should check the settings in the monitor to see if you can adjust the colors to correct them. If you still cannot then visit http://www.lg.com, mouse over support, and click Warranty Service.
You will be able to request a warranty replacement there.

I made adjustments to my monitor to change the brightness but now all my monitor has a pink tinge to it and all my photos in photoshop are pink. How can I set the monitor back to the factory settings

sound like a loose connection, check all your cables and make sure they are securely attached to your computer and also the back of your monitor, if problem persist try going to the degauss menu and degauss the monitor, check to see if your color settings are properly configured, also check the color temperature. If none of these suggestions worked your monitor may have a more server problem, hope this helps, best of luck

Crt monitor gradually develops a yellow tinge after being turned on for a few minutes. It fluctuates annoyingly. It is about 4 years old. It is a Samsung SyncMaster 753DFX Crt monitor.

CRT monitors have three color "guns" in them - Red, Blue, & Green. If one of them is starting to go south you will have a tinge as you describe. To make sure it's the monitor, try connecting a different monitor. If the monitor is the problem, it's not worth fixing. Replace it.
If, after changing the monitor you still have a color tinge, you have a problem with your video device in your PC and you need to have it checked out by a PC Technician.

Red color missing in LCD monitor

if under warranty contact the manufacturer for repairs. otherwise you'd be in the market for a new monitor.

Also check your graphics card. Might be causing the problem rather than your monitor.

Colors always changing

now that is one wild post.?
NO PC told
no OS told
no what app shows wrong colors
what does wrong mean? we can not see it.
what are you doing, with the PC, and application of some kind or just windows screens wrong.
is this a artist point of view , for Publishing in perfect tints?
does VA2026w fail on 2nd PC?
old monitors (trashy) have CCFL back lamps
and go yellow tinged for white, and yellow added to other colors are trash. too.
let me C 14 carbon date this MON.
2007 made and is CCFL lamps and all are bad now
or yellow dog tinged or changes hot../cold or random.
time to get a real monitor called LED 2010 or newer.
2007 are junk,
the CCFL will go dead next. all do.

here is what mine looks like, then,.... long ago.
just like this.

https://www.pcdied.com/monitors_and_screens/yellow-ccfl.JPG

pure trash monitors, all brands that year or older
2010 is the cusp year CCFL > LED
starting with big screens to small.
so 2011 is best year up;.
2010 some are some not.
2007 is junk,

Monitor...

If it is still under warranty and faulty, then send it back. It does not sound like a do it yourself task.

Cmv monitor bad color

The problem is your monitor, not driver or settings or video adapter cards. You have basically two options get another CRT or LCD display, or if it is still under warranty call the company get a "Return Authorization Number" and ship it back to the manufacturer. I did that with a NEC MUltisync 19" years ago, it turned red, there was little ability to actually change the red image at all. cI Shipped it back to NEC and it has worked ever since. Good luck with your monitor.

Receiver is powered, monitor is not

You probably have a broken TV if it's still under warranty you should call the manufacturer.

NEC ACCUSYNC 900

Havent you got a person or a friend that has a puter to test the monitor??? This would be the best way as it could be the crt on the monitor or the crt driver board but before we go there we should make sure where the problem lies. Good Luck
