SOURCE: Need set up manual for The Weather Channel indoor

The manual for the thermometer is available on the LaCrosse site: http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/7034twcit/index.php . The direct link is http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/7034twcit/manual.pdf .

Put the batteries in the remote(s) first. (If you need to reset the units, pull the batteries from the indoor temperature sensor and the remotes for 10 minutes before restarting.) With the remotes and indoor sensor 3 to 5 feet apart, put the batteries in the indoor temperature sensor. Then wait 10 minutes before pressing any buttons. Once you have confirmed communication between the units, then move the remotes to their final location (not more than 330 feet away minus 30 feet for external walls or windows and 20 feet for each internal wall between the units.)

I hope this helps.

I have the weather channel indoor outdoor thermometor and the outdoor temp and humidity are not showing up on my wall reader

With mine, this indicates that the battery needs replacing on the INDOOR unit. For some reason they don't pick up the signal from the transmitter. I use batteries 3 to 1, indoor to outdoor.

Changed batteries, now weatherstation does not receive outdoor imformation

La Crosse is very specific about what you should do and how you should do it for a battery replacement.
Begin by removing all batteries, both outdoor and indoor. Install new batteries in the outdoor unit. Allow the time it takes to get from the outside to the inside for the outside unit to initialize and begin sending data. Install batteries in the indoor unit and observe outdoor temperature. You should see indoor temperature as well. Finally, set the time. This last can be tricky as it seems difficult to set an exact time. I have two different La Crosse receivers connected to one transmitter and the one in front of me now is indicating 70 deg F indoors and 80 deg F outdoors.

Do i have to find a thermo-hygrometer sensor and a wind speed/anaemometer for the stx-7500 weathertech weather station, or can i use a general or generic brand for these sensors? I searched for a man

contact the manufacturer by phone to see if parts are available.. If the unit can be calibrated then you may be able to use generic parts . Contact Jaycar and see if they can put you onto anyone who repairs the units.

What does an OF symbol mean in the indoor temp window with no readings from the outside?

Based on a different, but similar, LaCrosse model (the WS-8611), it would appear to be an OverFlow indication, meaning that it's out of range. Here's a quote from that unit's manual:

SPECIFICATIONS:
Temperature measuring range:
Indoor : 14.2F to +139.8F with 0.2F resolution
(-9.9C to +59.9C with 0.1C resolution)
("OF.L" displayed if outside this range)
Outdoor : -39.8F to +139.8F with 0.2F resolution
(-39.9C to +59.9C with 0.1C resolution
("OF.L" displayed if outside this range)

It is likely that their convention remains the same across models, but I don't work for them, so I can't guarantee it.

Weathertech TX2000 Outdoor Reading does not work

I hope you also know the transmitter is not weather proof. I know that is not logical, but it is a fact. I wrapped mine in plastic and left the bottom open to reduce condensation. I hung it at the northern end of my home out of direct sunlight. Archery tech is correct about putting it close to the base to set it. Poor technology I guess.
