While watching tv, volume climbs to full by itself, screen flashes and remote becomes useless. Not a remote problem. When I unplug the tv for awhile it comes back to normal for a couple hours. Seems like a heat problem, just don't know where to look.

The volume button on the tv is stuff??? Try pushing the volume up and see if it pushes in or if its already pushed in? if thats not any jelp then the volume control chip or the processor is bad in the set. Also it could as well be a problem with the remote sensor in the set. This set has no used serviceable parts inside the set so if all these suggestions by myself and the other expert dosent work , you should contact Mistshbishi at 800-332-2119 or contact a local authorized repair center. Good Luck

All I can offer as help is to disconnect the TV from the mains power completely and go away and leave it for an hour or so or even overnight. Then plug it back in and possibly it will behave itself again. BMW

If you know the battery is good, then it's likely you have a loose battery connection. If not loose, could be corrosion built up under connection. If battery terminals are tight and clean, then look closely at the ground connection. Same thing hidden corrosion or loose connection or combination. What happens is, all seems normal untill you demand a heavy load, (starter) then the poor connectionn you had fails and symtoms resemble a dead or very low battery. Ofcourse it could be a low battery. Which could be from bad alternator / charger. Jump start it with cables, take to auto parts store and have them test the battery and charger. They should be able to do it right in the vehicle and for free or minimal cost. Good luck.

Gauges and Warning Lights Are Going Crazy

Hi there! I am having the same issue. It seems like every time that it rains a lot this happens. Check the battery though, the ground connection of my battery is wet every time this happen's. Check if the battery is damp or wet, that is usually what causes it for me. I am in the process of getting a cover for it, or putting electrical tape over it.

Have a 2003 Dodge Neon SXT

sounds like the car is running off the battery due to a bad alternator, the battery is just for the car to start, not to keep it running, replace the alternator and charge the battery and your problem should be solved, hope this helped

Locks go crazy, alarm goes off, now the car won't start.

I've had this problem under warranty on my '05 Malibu LS. They replaced and reprogrammed the fobs. Looking in my shop manual, it seems the problem is from the content theft deterrent (CTD) system. My car started doing this two years later off warranty and now I just lock the doors from the outside with the key or by pushing the lock stem buttons by hand on each door. The security option in the DIC needs to be set to RKE for this to work though.

On returning yesterday from a 3 week holiday our 6 month old honda wont start . The recovery guy said the battery was flat and used jump leads to get it started . We took it for a drive , and find today...

Disconnect your battery (+ ) terminal for a minute or so, then reconnect. I've had where my vehicle came back from Florida, the night before, to the nice cold winter in Ontario Canada, and I had to disconnect battery to basically re-program all the sensors etc, to recognize difference in temperatures. After I did that, it started up fine, no more problems. I don't suspect your vehicle was exposed to any big difference in outside temperatures, but it costs nothing to try this, and I've seen stranger things happen.
