This particular model tv has a series of problems. They range from bad electrolytic capacitors in the SMPS (switched mode power supply) other semiconductor failures of the power supply. The main board can also fail and cause the set not to power up. Since the detection circuit monitors the circuits of the main board, power supply and T con board it will detect a failure and set the tv in stand by mode and will not power up till the fault is corrected.

If the red light won't come on it is not getting power.First,try plugging it in to a different outlet,or unplug one of the gadgets you know is working and plug the tv in there.You are simply switching.If you know that there is power coming from the outlet and it still won't come on then you'll have to check the cord;don't go much farther than that without expert help.

Take out the battery and only hook up the AC Adapter. Try turning on your laptop and if you still only get a flashing power button then try another AC Adapter. If the same thing happens then that means the motherboard is bad and would need to be replaced.

The infrared receiver light just keeps blinking red and TV won't power on. Tried unplugging for a little while but didn't help.

also try the initial check....open the back cover and inspect the power supply board for any bulged capacitors inside..

My router won't light up, i even reset it.
Do you see a red power light? If so, it's busted.. However, if there is really no light that's comming up, try a different outlet or check the power cord.
