20490, 20573, 20820, 21075, 20899

Progarmminig procedure

The AV1 and AV2 switch position can be used to program a

VCR, DVD, STEREO, 2nd DIRECTV Receiver or 2nd TV with

the following instructions.

1. Turn on the component (e.g. DVD Player) you wish to

program.

3. Move the slide switch under the AV1 (or AV2) icon.

What input or channel does my samsung plasma tv need to be on to play the nintendo wii

If you have the AV inputs, use them. Use AV1, not AV2.
(If you use the AV2 input, there might be action delay between the controllers and the Wii.)
If you don't, just select VIDEO 2.

My plasma LG TV has a black display box in the top left corner of screen. No words or text in it, just a black box covering that coirner of picture...how do I get rid of it?

There should be a button on your TV remote that will be called "Display" or "P in P".
The display button usually displays which input you have selected, such as: SAT for Satellite; AV1, AV2, AV3 or AV4 - depending on how many inputs your TV has, to plug in devices like a VCR or DVD recorder/player.
Otherwise, if you have a more sophisticated TV, it could be that you have accidentally pressed the "P in P" button, that selects the Picture in Picture mode. If you have done this, your TV will display the main picture of the input you have selected, plus another input, (such as SAT or AV1 or AV2 etc. as I've mentioned above). If the AV1 or AV2, etc. input is not active (not switched on) then that input will only display a blank (black) picture in the top left corner of the screen.
Hope this helps...

When trying to switch from AV1 to AV2 with the

The Red, White & Yellow connectors are your composite inputs usually classed as AV3 or component. The AV1 input is a Scart connection, if you have a scart cable, connect this as your AV source & the TV will switch from AV to component.

Can't switch from AV2 to AV1 with Samsung DVD-VR375 DVD Recorder / VCR Combo

To be able to select AV1, you have to first go into the setup menu and set the control set top box setting to OFF. I think you go to the menu >> setup >> features >> set top box control >> select OFF. Note that this has the side effect of erasing any previously stored timer settings.

Plasma tv connection to pc

Hi,

when you say you have even changed the settings to pc...do you mean you have used PC..to try connect...through settings..??

I would have thought on the remote there is a button for setting up the Plasma TV? you checked to make sure there isn't a menu where you can tell the TV its connected to a PC??

It may be you will have to switch between the two. My reason is that on my TFT..there is a menu....when I check the list..there is an option to connect to PC..AV1 AV2.

With your lead connected you should get something?

hope helps

Plasma TV PS-42Q7HX/XSJ

hey, i had this problem with a CRT television once. My subwoofer would cause the same issue in that TV. There is a rather large magnet in the subwoofer that creates a field that will mess your TV up if it's too close to it. not sure if the same applies to the plasma, but i'd definately move it more than 5 feet away from the screen. sometimes it takes 24hrs or so for the tv to repair itself after doing so. hope this helps.
