I had the same exact problem and sometimes get it every now and then.
do this to fix it.
1) press the on button 2) quickly press all the lens inside by hands or by banging on a leather material 3) it will automatically move in and out 4) your camera will start working.
reason: it gets stuck becoz the levers of the lens are not good.

Re: help needed urgently

But if it still takes pictures - live with it.
Tthe cost of repair will be well on the way to a new camera

Back light problem. Check and replace the damaged components at the back light inverter circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get more details visit the site linked here. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
I can assume that the t-con board or the video board had terminal connectors or ribbon connectors. What is often overlooked is a misaligned connector or worse, a broken or bent pin. Try examining these connection points. You may have to use a magnifying glass. A defective screen usually goes black or produces broken images and/or color points.
I hope this helps.
I had the same problem... I simply fixed it with changing into other batteries... they were not out of power, but apparently the recorder like the new batteries better??
Hi the solution to your problem is
A failed top screen the ribbon had gone
The green light comes on screen flashes an then goes off
I repair nintendo ds lites in the uk
So can sort you out for a reasonable price
This is because your bottom LCD screen is faulty. You can buy these quite cheaply off of ebay for around £10 and they are pretty easy to fit. There are lots of guides out there but if you need any more help please post a reply to me here.
TV has gone into "protect mode" to do just that to protect against the damaging failure that has been detected, you will need a servicer to diagnose the failure. Good luck and Merry Christmas!
Try removing the motherboard from the screens and attach the battery the green light should turn on and stay on.
Now attach the lower screen and turn on. If the screen is ok the screen and green light will flash and then turn off. (if the screen doesn't flash the bottom screen is you're problem and will have to be replaced)
If this happens the problem is then you're top screen which you will have to replace.
Try shutting off your flash and see if it still does that. It sounds like you have a problem with your flash not charging correctly. You can try resetting the camera but I doubt if that will help. I would try just shutting the flash off and see if that would help.
