Question about Onkyo TX-SR601 Receiver
So your saying that you have no rear channel. Some recivers use a single stereo output ic for both sides on the rear speakers. you could have a defect with this IC . Anther thing Im sure you check3ed the obvious ie : the switch is on suround sound? If there is a front to rear fader is it in the middle? Good Luck

It's NOT the "rear" speakers, but the left/right surround sound. Thank you for your comments.

does anyone have any suggestions?
just received new harmon kardon 2700 receiver. hooked up speakers and i get no sound fromm any source
Sound is supplied from the TV to receiver via optical cable. This has worked in the past but recently quit working. 3.1 setup. Center channel is the only speaker that won't put out sound. Center channel speaker works with radio output so I know the speaker and cables are working. Center channel only won't work with sound coming from the TV??
I have a Harman kardon 137 .no sound coming out of surround sound or sub woofer.Front and centre speakers r only on quiet softly. Have done speaker test and resetting of avr but no change.
only makes sound in direct listening mode,no difference if in tuner,c.d.,or f.m. selection, have disconnected surround speakers with no change
Why won't my center speaker work when I have it on surround hall mode on?
