Turn on the TV With the remote press the F button and the Mute button at the same time. This should bring your TV back to normal mode. from Don "the TV King"

Your TV is locked.

The Child Lock feature prevents unauthorized viewing of the

television. To activate, press and hold the Function key, and then

press MUTE. you should see a key symbol appear on the screen.

This will lock out all remote functions (except for Standby). To unlock

the TV, press and hold the Function key and press MUTE. This will

unlock the TV. Please note that the only way to activate or deactivate

the Child lock feature is via remote control - please insure that it is
stored securely.

The keypad on the MC3190 hand held appears to be locked up. The battery is fully charged but pressing any of the keys has no affect. Is there a mechanism that may lock/unlock the keypad?

Try a warm boot(Hold down the red power button until it goes blank)

There is no image on our screen. The remote control does not work

Need code to unlock phone

if it shows the key symbol on the display, then press and hold the toggle button for more than 20 secs and it should unlock. if you can't see the key symbol i can't help, because my son has done something to our phone so the keys don't work even though thedisplay seems to!

Just like a few of your other readers mentioned, we pushed the button below the AV/TV button for 3 seconds and the screen unlocked. Thanks for everyone's advise, we were ready to throw out the TV.

Tv dvd combo locked

Press the DIS button (should be the orange one) on the remote for five seconds. That's how it got locked in the first place :)

Mine says 'Lock' / 'Unlock' when I do it, no key symbol.

Sorry but you're going to have to be a bit more specific than that.. What kind of Tv is it, what model number, is it the original remote, do you have an otherwise good pic and sound, do functions (vol, ch, power) on the Tv work???

blue screen and red 1" key in bottom left hand corner I turned on my tv to discover that it has an all blue screen with a 1-2" key symbol in the bottom left hand side of the screen. The tv cannot be turned on or off manually only with the remote and no other buttons work except the power button on the remote. I don't believe that i ever set any parental controls as i have no children. I unplugged it for 24 hrs and turned it back on to receive the same problem. Not sure where to go from there i read that sometimes you need to take the cover off and remove the internal battery is that wise?
