TV starts but Does Not show picture or no sound

Hi i would be grateful if any GURU can offer some help. Since yesterday my TV does not show any picture or sound. when I switch it on a little red LED turns on, TV seems to be receiving commands from remote (I can make it out from LED display) I can also hear some tick-tick sound. Sometime it is continues tick-tick-tick from back of TV but NO display or sound. I tried to raise volume to max but I do get to listen anything. any help much appriciated. Thanks a lot! - Tushar

My 14 months old 32 inches TV has decided to stop working. I can turn it on and off with the remote control but not the manual control on the side of the tv. The TV does not provide any pictures or sounds and the model is LE32R86WDX I cannot find any troubleshooting to solve this problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The Tic Tic sound is a result of the high voltage shutdown circuit. Thats what the circuit does if theres a short in the Highvoltage sweep. like maybe a shorted horizontal output transistor??. The only way to really tell is go in and measure the start up voltage and if the Hivoltage comes up and shuts down its a fault in the shutdown or Hhv regulation circuit . if it dosent come up at all then the faults in the Horizontal sweep circuit . Hope this explains a bit? good luck

Picture started getting fuzzy then it went out

yes, remove the back of the tv,on the power board you will see the problem.replace those capacitors on the power board.this will allow the set to work.the black bars may still be there.this is an indication of a bad panel.
