I wrongly inputed a wrong memory card on my pc's memory slot with another memory card in it. the other memory card is a PC3200 DDR and the other is a DDR400 but the same 256mb. i took out the wrong memory card when i found out it was a wrong card but this made my good pc not working until now. help me with this please..is my mother board crusheddown?

Firstly your motherboard doesn't have video capabilities built in so you have an addon video card. I doubt there's any problem with the board as it's jumperless and you can't have the CPU settings wrong. Are you getting any beeps when you switch on? The length and number of beeps can tell you where the problem is. The usual problem with no video is either a memory problem or video card problem. If you can borrow another video card try it. Make sure the plug is correctly inserted all the way in and make sure the video card is properly seated in it's slot. I assume you're using the 4x AGP slot. Remove that and try another ot even a PCI card in the PCI slots. You may then get a picture. Actually apart from finding it hard to figure out your actual problem it's very hard to diagnose a fault from the little you've told me. Certainly the motherboard can be faulty and you won't get video but it's the video card you should be looking at first. Have you turned the monitor on and plugged it in?

i have a good pc before but when i wrongly added a wrong memory card to my other memory slot. ORIGINALLY i have a PC3200 memory card but i added another memory card whiich is not a PC3200. this is the problem comes. I CANNOT open my pc anymore since i did the terrible mistake. the pc can power up but the monitor can't.
