Am trying to configure scan to pc on Kyocera km2560 in windows 7, but it wont work and I don't know where am going wrong because its working in XP and able to ping the machine, help...

EVEN AFTER SHARING THE SCAN FOLDER, I STILL CANT COMMUNICATE TO THE COMPUTER FROM THE SCANNER WHEN I TEST THE CONNECTION.

    THIS PROBLEM STARTED AFTER CHANGING FROM WINDOWS SERVER 2003 TO WINDOWS SERVER 2008.

SOURCE: Scanner won't communicate with computer

Try this,

Go to Control Panel >> Device Manager, look for the scanner in 'Device Manager' under 'Imaging Devices'
Right click on it and select 'Uninstall' and allow it to be uninstalled.
Remove the USB lead from the scanner.
Re-boot the Computer.
Once windows appears and is ready toi use, re-connect the scanner USB lead.
Windows should re-install the drivers and tell you the scanner is ready to use................hopefully!

The reason that you are unable to scan through the printer is, you are missing HP full feature software and driver.

Do you have more than one PC connected to the scanner? I have both a PC and a Mac connected to it, and I think my scanner is trying to connect to the Mac, which requires image capture software to be installed, rather than the PC. Don't know how to tell it to go to the PC, though...

Right click on desktop, go to 'graphics options' and then to 'output to'. Go to 'clone displays' and select 'monitor + built-in display'
It helps to have the TV plugged into the VGA port on your notebook before you turn that on.

You will have to go to the website below and download drivers for the XP you installed, because the other drivers were for Windows 7 and will not work in XP install.

Hi,
You don't want to download any program to run programs compatible for windows XP, you can find a built in program coming with windows 7, and it is very easy to do,
go to control panel and open troubleshoot, then select programs, click next, after scanning it will all the programs that installed on your laptop, then select any programs which has compatibility problem with windows 7,
then you can see one option to start that program with Windows XP compatibility mode, after opening that software, click on next, and save that settings,,,,
finished....
you can fix all problems,

My laptops audio and cd player doesn't work and
The first thing to try is the following:
In XP:
  • From Start Menu
  • Open Control Panel
  • Choose Classic View
  • Double click on System
  • Click on Hardware tab
  • Click on Device Manager
  • Open the Sound, Video and Game Controllers by clicking on it
  • Right click on your sound card, choose Uninstall
  • Now go to the Actions menu and choose Scan for new hardware
  • Windows will scan through your computer, discover the audio adapter and reinstall its drivers
In Vista/7:
  • From Start menu
  • Choose Control Panel
  • Choose Classic View or Large Icons in 7
  • Double click on Device Manager
  • Open the Sound, Video and Game Controllers by clicking on it
  • Right click on your sound card, choose Uninstall
  • Now go to the Actions menu and choose Scan for new hardware
  • Windows will scan through your computer, discover the audio adapter and reinstall its drivers
If these don't resolve your problem, you need to download a new audio driver from your manufacturer's website.

I have dell optiplex 780, the built-in speaker is not working with windows 7 32 bit. but if i will used windows xp i have no problem, plss i need your help i want my built-in speaker working with windows 7...
try right clicking on your volume icon the speaker in your tray the select playback devices and see if its selected or listed if its there and no got a check mark check it and you should be good ..if it isn't there try updating if still no go then the sound card simply wont work for windows

Scan not better
scan to email not working... if it was working before... then you need to do a reverse ip lookup or ping your smtp domain name and get it... then enter this instead of the smtp domain name... next make sure that you have the right port number selected... if you are still having issues... lets link up through instant messenger and I will walk you through what needs to be done...

KM-3035 scanning issues
the 30/40/5035 series machines have two network cards in them. One for printing and one for scanning. and they have separate IP numbers also. make sure you have scanfile utility running on your pc or wherever you are sending the files and the folder set up in the utility. then set it up on the scanner network card.. Not the printer.
