Can not playback past end of first file on my Panasonic PV-GS2
I'm not able to playback any of my tapes that have more than one file/session on them ... playback bluescreens at the end of the first file.
Any clues?
I'm not sure if this will work for you but, sometimes I try to play back some of my tapes and a blue or grey screen comes up instead, although this sounds odd, if I record something(for even one second) it will let me see my film. I know this can cause problems because you may end up taping over film but if it's the only way to see your film it's worth a try!

had the same problem, it seems to do fine without a tape in it :so I took the tape in and out a few times and I guess the alighnment was better so it works for Now..So Give it a try
Even though my husband cleaned the head with a q-tip and alcohol, I decided to purchase a cleaning tape. I popped it in and it worked in less than 15 seconds! It was expensive, $18, but not nearly expensive as a new camera!
Hi
Here is a link to the latest manual for your Camcorder. Check out page 42. This may help.

You may need to re-install the software o your computer for the camera inteface.
Have a Great Day!!
your heads motor ( drum ) cable may have have
come loose or is dirty - since the cleaning
tape made some difference the heads were dirty
or almost worn out ( cleaner tape is abrasive )
so now there isn ' t enough signal ;
if your date and time display worked only in
play ? ( still works for camera record video )
your guides were out of alignment - and the
cleaning tape took your guides even further
out of alignment ( alignment here starts at
$ 50 + shipping )
My camera has been doing this too, searched this site not through product but problem and found this solution posted by "margarita" for another camera. Said to try removing/replacing the tape. When I pushed the eject button the tape did not come up, removed the battery for a minute and tried again. This time the tape came up so I removed it and put it back in, it seems to have worked. The reset button is not flashing and it did record and playback when I tried them.
