Question about GE WSM2700D Top Load Stacked Washer / Dryer
My washer fills with water, then makes a humming sound, but does not wash the clothes. Then it drains, does not go through the spin cycle, but makes the same humming sound. I tried to remove the "agitator", but could not open the washer lid far enough for it to clear the dryer.
It sound like a belt problem. Try to move tub manually first, in case it move smoothly -open the front panel, the belt should be between the motor and the drive pulley (lower front). In case it torn or not in its place, you should replace it. In case it doesn't move smoothly - maybe that a sock or other piece of clothing get between the clothes tub and the outer tub and prevent tub's spining. If this is the situation, it should be removed. Good luck !!

Washer will not drain and there is a humming sound
the washer works fine till the spin and drain mode. the drain line is clear so I'm assuming the door switch is faulty. one question does the wash cycle stop if i open the lid
the washer doesn't get enough water to get clothes clean
the only thing I hear is a clicking sound when it should be washing. Water drains but, dosn't spin
The machine is not overloaded. We put in a small load on colors cycle. It fills and spins to wash but then never drains and does not enter spin cycle. It cannot be set to spin cycle either. This last time it just stopped, lights turned off and is down. I had to spill water everywhere to open and get clothes out.
Water isn't going into the washer. I'll start the washer, and it makes a humming noise, and then shuts off. Whats the problem and how do I fix it?
WHEN MY WASHER IS IN SPIN MODE IT JUST MAKES A HUMMING SOUND
