My Cuisinart Grind and Brew gets wet grinds in the shoot that clogs up. This does not allow the grinds to go down the shoot. I clean it correctly & frequntly. The grinds are never powder & always wet. How can I fix this problem?

try cleaning the grind chute again. if problem persists: this is a cronic problem with the DGB900BC even after cleaning. the problem is the gate or trap to the grounds needs to open/remain open during grinding or all backs up and jams. my unit opens the door (correctly) during the rotation but closes just before grinding (over-rotation?). Cuisinart is not aware of this problem (800-726-0190). please call them; i just have.
My grind and brew is a little different, but when I have this problem, I havve to remove the beans and vaccuum out the bean reseviour. It gets clogged and then it won't grind.
Make sure the slot between the grind basket and filter basket is clean and free of grounds - then inspect the area near the grinder motor - use the brush that came supplied with the Cuisinart to clean that area out. Once thoroughly cleaned, try one more time to Grind. Let me know if it works.
Hi, Here is a link for the PDF version of the Instruction Booklet for the DGB-600BCC (from the name you provided I’m assuming this is the correct product). If it’s not the right product, check out the Cuisinart.ca website, you can select the product you are looking for and download the instruction booklet from the product page. http://www.cuisinart.ca/en/pdf/ibs/DGB-600BCC_en.pdf Hope that helps!
Common with the DGB-600 - you can try icing it down for 10 minutes - once removed, clean exterior with vinegar applied to a rag to get oils off - endemic to this unit - replacing it with exact same model will not help.
This happens when the machine needs cleaned. Fill coffee maker with white vineger instead of water. Turn grind off, make sure empty pot is in place. Brew a pot of hot vineger. Repeat. Brew a pot of hot water. Repeat. This process removes mineral buildups inside machine. If you have access to filtered water, start using that to brew your coffee. I do and probably do this process 1 per 6 weeks.
It grinds but the light is always blinking
