Formatted mp3 i acciendently formatted my mp3 an now i cant find the software to get the format. can you help me please.

i have checked your phone online. your Samsung s3100 can only support audio files with these formats. .mp3, .wav and polyphonic ring tones only. So please, try downloading audio file with these file extension formats or you can download a software than can convert audio file that suits your cellphone. for example: the lazy song.mp3 or the lazy song.wav

First of all formate your MP3 player through built-in format option of the player, remember dont try to format it through PC. then by using software provided with the MP3 copy songs of your choice and past in your player with the help of software, also don't copy and paste directly from PC to MP3.
This will solve your problem.

When I had to format mine it works the same as formatting a disk - it will erase the drive. Unfortunately you will have to reload all your music back on the MP3.

you are not supposed to tranfer files via sonicstage or just copy mp3 you should be able to browse the mp3player as drive and in 1 of it's folder you will see a program which is used to transfer your file and it converts them to the file the player can read.

I had the same problem. I had formatted the player's drive using Windows explorer and the got this error: "File Format error" while trying to play any mp3 file.
I went to the command prompt. Deleted all files:
E:\> del *
Then I copied the MP3 files again in the T.sonic MP3 player. All MP3 files played fine after this.

try formatting through the mp3 player. go to menu -> advanced -> format -> yes.

If you Format it with the formatting tools given with the software then there are chances to loose the firmware.But formating it with windows format then it will not.Try formatting in command prompt that avoids errors.

Did you try formatting it from software or the process through My Computer. If you used software process try this other way below.

To format your device first click on "Start" then click on "My Computer" now look for your mp3 player, if it hasn't been change the names usually called "Removable Disk", once you've found that right-click on it then click on "Format".
