Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can try that may (or may not) correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty (or repair cost approaches that of the camera), they're worth that try. Some of the later steps do involve some risk to the camera, so carefully weigh your options before deciding to conduct them:

Pictures ar blurry

If you did not drop the camera. It won't be the lens. That said, please have a close look to the lens. Is the front element clean? you could clean it with a soft cloth that is used for glasses too. But also try to look into the lens. Sometimes, when a lens is left is a moist envirement, mold can grow between two elements. The glass you see inside is not bright anymore and gets a grayish look.
When the battery is becoming old, you only can make less pictures with one charge, till it is old and stops. Before the camera could warn you the power is running low.

When i turn on my camera to take a pic it is blurry but if i zoom the lens all the way close to the object it takes a good pic.

Your auto-focus is not working. Inside the camera is a motor that adjusts the lens to focus on an object automatically. It is currently stuck to "close" or near focus. However, it doesn't go far focus. Check the focus functions of you camera - try to use manual focus.

Dropped the Camera, Lens is stuck open

I already tried posting this but I think it falied. Just in case, here it is again!

I just now fixed my own Nikon S220 (very similar to 210) which suffered the same fate as yours. However, I laid my camera down on a cushioned foot-rest (you could use a couch cushion or pillow on a table) with the lens facing UP, pressed down on both sides of lens front gently yet firmly, and BAM, the lens went back in all the way. I turned the power back on and the camera is good as new (except for the small dent from the fall of course).

I suggest you try this before spending $100 on repairs and/or buying a new camera!

My EX-S5 says lense error

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ...

Here's some things that you can do to try to correct it. They only seem to work for less than 50% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try:

Lens only open partially

Lens mechanism isn't good to work properly so camera shut down the power. Try to tap the lens/ camera while power up.
If you have a memory card in the camera, take it out before turning the camera on

IR-300 Olympus

I had what sounds like the same problem. The camera was dropped and the shutter was stuck open. Just kept showing error message.
As I felt I had nothing to lose I began tapping it on a soft book and the shutter started to appear. I then shut it just using the end of my finger. When I then turned the camera on again it opened and shut when turned off. It has worked fine ever since.
Seems a rather poor design.
Hope this helps. Very best regards Peat.

Blurry camera screen

If the pictures are blurry, you probably damaged the lens with the drop. You will have to send the camera to the factory service to replace the lens unit, if it is not serviceable.

If you drop a camera this is not normally covered by the warranty. You may find it cheaper to replace the camera than have any major service done to it.

I have a Casio EX 260, not the EX-S600

Try resetting camera. If that doesn't work more than likely there is a lens error. 800-706-2534 and keep choosing option 2 and they will tell you where to send it.

Blurry display after dropping

I did the same thing to my Photosmart E327 and upon inspection, I found that the len had fallen out. I could not find it so I am trying to find how to get it replaced. The blurry picture began for me after the drop. Suggest that you check to see if your len has become dislodged, or fallen out as mine did.

Power On problem

Try the simple stuff first. Install fresh batteries. Remove the memory card. If that doesn't fix the problem, it is time for warranty.
