Shure wireless UHF microphone

We have a set of shure wireless UHF mic we use in our local church services here in Caloocan city, Philippines, around 3 wks ago, one of the mic (it came with 2 pcs. handheld mic) was not transmitting. we checked its not the switches (mute) or the mic head, (we switched the mic head) and the indicator light on the receiver unit, whenever these 2 mic are switched on would light up correspondingly, could this mic still be repaired?are there parts available here in the phillippines?

Make sure the microphone and the receiver are still broadcasting/receiving on the same channel.
Check that all of the appropriate connections are right from the receiver to the mixing board are connected as well.
I hope this helps!
God Bless you!

Our church wireless mic was dropped and the bezel as well as the power and mute buttons have dissappeared. I'm looking for a website or a way to obtain a manual so i can order the replacement pieces....

Go to this website:
http://www.shure.com/americas/support/service-repair/index.htm
at the bottom of the page there should be a section called "Replacement Parts" that has anything you could possibly look for. Shure is a small private company and has unbelievable customer service, so don't be afraid to call.

With the -10dB pad setting, still get distortion with loud singers using SLX Wireless Microphone. Need a mod to say -20dB pad. thanks

Yes I have this exact problem myself. Work for nightclub and our original Shure wireless was fine and we replaced it with an slx. We have MCs that really yell into the mic. I'm gonna try and find an older 58 capsule to pit on it and see how that goes. The mic would probally be fine with normal singers.

Change a Shure Beta 87A LX2-ZZ VHF to UHF

That would be nearly impossible to do. However, you should be able to get a schematic from Shure Service at [email protected]

Wireless microphone receiver ready light or audio indicator nogo

It is definitely a Sync issue.

1) Make certain the microphone is ON and the light on it is green.
2) Remove the battery cover from the microphone.
3) point the **** end of the microphone (where it says Sync) toward the Sync button the receiver (about 6-8 inches away).
4) Press the Sync button on the receiver. You should notice the light on the microphone flash.

If this still does not work, call Shure Applications at 847-600-8440.

Shure SM2 Headset/Mic wiring

Headset connection: Blue wire to Pin 2, White wire to Pin 1, Yellow wire to Pin 3. Connect Pins 1 & 2.
Microphone connection: Black wire to Pin 3. Red wire to Pin 2. Ground wire to Pin 1.
I am using a male/female 7-pin XLR connector assembly to black box. I am using two 3-pin XLR connectors, one for SM2 microphone function, one for SM2 headset function.

Fingernails have mangled the rubber on-off button. Replacement?

Hmmm...apparently this is a common problem. So common, all you have to do is call the Shure parts ordering line (800-516-2525 opt 3), and ask for the "rubber button" for the PGX2 (SLX2) handheld transmitter. They are 81 cents apiece, but with a $10 minimum, you will end up buying six (or more).
