on your remote press the service maint code 20498354

Thanks Zeroice007.......but how do I get to run the 'operational software'?
I replaced the lamp and restored power. All i get is the power timer and lamp lights flashing. i tried the codes on the remote but to no avail. What am I doing wrong?
This would be done in the TV's onscreen menu. Since every TV has a different OSD, my advice would be to Google the TV's model number along with User Manual as it would explain how. Most manufacturers provide an electronic manual for their products on their website.

I have replaced the lamp but cannot find out how to reset the counter.
There is nothing about it in the User Manual for the TV.
I have searched the web for info and have tried to get into a service menu by pressing Mute + 1 + 8 + 2 + Power on the original remote as suggested for other AKAI tv's but this did not work for me.
Someone must know how to reset the lamp counter on a PT46DL10?
