Setting time and date

I have a GE Digital Messaging System 5.8 GHZ and would like to know how to set the time and date for incoming calls

    the time that the calls come in is wrong and I can't change it

    I cannot set the time the calls come in. The date is correct but the time if 4 hours ahead

Why does the date and time change automatically after I have programmed the date and time on my phone?

If you are subscribed to Caller ID from your phone company, the unit's date and time setting will be automatically adjusted when caller information is received. If you do not wish for this feature to work, press [MENU] [#] [2] [2] [6] on the handset, then press [0] to select "Manual" and press [SAVE]

For ge 25942ee4 5.8 ghz - i can't locate instructions. need to know how to correct the day and time on main base phone.

1. Make sure the answering system is ON.
2. Press fash/answerer/call waiting button on the handset to enter answerer remote
mode.
3. Press key [8] to enter Time/Day set menu on handset.
4. To set Hour, key in [00]-[12].
5. To set Minutes, key in [00]-[59].
6. To set AM/PM, press the CALLER ID-VOLUME (5or6) button.
7. Press #PAUSE/ringer button to confrm the setting.

CL code

My phone was also flashing CL and the 0, after a power outage. After I set the date and time it was fixed. Press the flash button on the handset and use the caller ID buttons to set AM or PM; use the numbers to input the correct time. Then press #. Repeat for setting the day and press # again.
