Using your TV's remote control press the right cursor button three times and it will adjust the Screen to the right and the green line will disappear. Use the left button if your green line is on the left.

Look for any magnetic materials around that area. Try changing the input device to something you know works for sure.

A yellow line going down the left side of the television

you likely have the "screen size" option set to allow the TV determine the best size (3:4 , 16:9, ...). Set it manually to 16:9 for HD channels or 3:4 for low-def channels.

The line should go away. This is a common problem on Samsung, Sony (Green line right side) and Phillips (yellow line left side).

Hi my nameis Mike Houston of DISH Network and I see you have a green line on the rightside of the screen, and there was a service tech that said "the HDMI port isbad". Small green line on right side of screen

This is an easy fix using the Philips remote control that came with your tv. On the center of the remote is a dial that has left right up down controls. Stand in front of the tv and using those controls you can recenter the screen and get rid fo the green line. I had same problem when we hooked up hd satellite reciver to philips 37 plasma

I have a Philips plasma TV model #50PF9731D/37 with a weird ambi-light issue. When I first turn on the set, the ambi-light functions on both sides. But after I introduce a signal (cable and PS3 use HDMI...

Unfortunately the 'green line' issue mentioned in the review appears to still be happening on screens that are shipping to end users. (It's been documented in detail on AVForums).

Hopefully this should be rectified by a firmware change (simply being able to adjust the picture vertically as well as horizontally would help).

The clearlcd technology is new for philips

VERY VERY COMMON IN PHILIPS!!! People all over the internet are noticing the same problem. Philips is still working on it. I will let you know as soon as they have a solution.

Thin green line on right side of screen when watching through HDMI cable...line goes away when watching through reg AV inputs

You should check if you could adjust the screen size or posistion. If that don't work try using another (newer) HDMI cable. If everything feals go back to your store and claim a new tv. Then it is the hardware inside the tv, you will have warrenty on that.

Green line on TV with DVD playing

The aspect ratio is fine, I just fixed mine you have to use the TV remote, and press the left or right directional button depending on where the green line. Philips TV offsets the picture when using HDMI, but its easily fixable using this remedy. Time to take the tape off haha!
