This was really tricky.
There are two holes on the top, close together.
Slide
the thin loop through the hole closest to the side of the camera, and
then stick a pin through the other hole and try to 'fish' it out. You
can tell when you've hooked it because you can pull the needle by
pulling the strap. Once it's hooked, you have to carefully pull the
needle out, keeping the strap from sliding off by angling the needle
away from the other hole. Good luck. Took me quite a few tries.

Before you stick the end of the wrist-strap in the loop get a bobbypin and put it between the two sides of the ropes separating each side. then you try and slide it through and pull really hard with the bobbypin then as if just by magic you have your wrist-strap.
(DO NOT FORGET TO MAKE A KNOT AT THE END AND TIGHTEN IT)
