Reconfigure wireless card

To whom it may concerM,

I have a senao wireless card. I first used it when i was deployed in Iraq. Last time it was configured or anything for that matter was in 2003. i Just recently purchased a broadband wireless internet the broadband works but not the wireless card. The customer service rep that I talked to said I have to get a hold of the Senao company and see what i have to to to reonfigure the card so my broadband can read the card.
The following is the information on this card that I have:
S/N 044210335
SL-2511CD PLUS (E200)
MAC: 00026F374A5
FCC ID: N13-2511CD-PLUS
IEEE 802.11b

Thank you,
Steven Henson

I believe he's wrong. But the wireless card which only does B needs to match the router which could be A,B, or G. And B has some serious range limitations. You also need to manually address the card or the router has to be configured for DHCP. Get past those issues and it should setup normally.

Set your PC to use the static IP 192.168.1.10, netmask 255.255.255.0.

To login to the web manager, go to http://192.168.1.1. Leave the username and password blank. You can now configure the device and assign IP address etc.

Senao USB wifi 802.11

I am afraid that I have had to make an assumption as to the precise modle that you have but the following link should be correct, it gives you the option to download drivers for the
Senau NUB362 (Ext)

http://www.senao.com/English/Default.aspx?TYPE=test.htm&PT=searchDownload1&sf1=D331&sf2=NUB-362(EXT)&sf3=&tv_TCAT_POS=0&CATNO0=D&IDX=3.2&CNT=1&CATNO1=D3

numerous drivers for different operating systems seem to be avaliable.

if I have chosen the worng type a pull down list is avaliable showing the differnt Senao product drivers avaliable.

SENAO wireless adapter not working

I assume you have the unit set to alocate ip addresses automatically in other words the dhcp is set to enabled in the settings. If so it maybe that the address is registering wrong, you can either click start>run> then type ipconfig /flushdns, or uninstal your wireless network card in device manager then restart the pc to automatically install it again as this will set it back to default, but remember to make sure obtain ip address automatically is enabled in the adapters properties on the tcp/ip properties.
