SOURCE: Solis SL 90 occasional pressure loss, only a few

HI
There are a few things that can cause this. If it brews without the portafilter in, then your coffees is too fine or you have a blockage in your basket if it has a ring in the bottom. You can clean the basket by using espresso machine cleaner like Cafiza or JoeGlo. Automatic dishwashing detergent works in a pinch also. 1/4 teaspoon in the basket then brew like normal but stop after 3-5 seconds and let set for 1 minute. Repeat this for about 5 - 10 brews then rinse the basket and run 2 - 3 long shots of just water through the basket (brew) to thourghly rinse the basket.
If it doesn't brew with out the portafilter in, then you have a blockage in your brew head. There is a screw that holds in the dispersion screen. Above that is a larger screw that holds in a check valve. if you can get the check valve out see if water will run through. If not your blockage is in this tube. run a heavy wire up this tube for about 4 inches. Twist the wire as you go. Test to see if you can get water through. If so reassemble and do a descale through both the wand and brew head. Use a strong descale the first time and then do a second. Descale 2 to 3 time a year to prevent this.

SOURCE: My Solis SL-90 has an issue where when you press

Hi
110v and 220v are not the same.
If the pump starts when you turn ton the machine the steam knob is out of adjustment. If you turn the knob to far you can do this. Remember that the steam knob does not close the steam off. It only pushes a needle with a seat on it to open. When you turn the valve off it allows the needle with a seat to stop the steam. Turning to far only moves the valve farther from the needle and pretty soon it will not open the needle.

SOURCE: steam works intermitantly, how do you get top off

Hi
Once you have the screw out, the top will slide forward. Don't try to pry the top up or you will break the mounts. The face will move with the top as they are connected. When you put the top back, the face slips into a grove in the top and everything slides back.

Solis crema sl 90 the steem is not work

Usualy this a goggle steam wand. So you can insert a thin steel wire in the seam wand and turn the steam knob slowly untill you see some steam come out. Keep move the steel wire and after you get the first steam try to boil a glass of water and leave it for ten minutes and then boil it again. This will clean the steam wand internaly.

Yes, it is possible that the thermostat tripped or is damaged. If thermostat is not damaged then elements might be damaged.

Solis SL 90 occasional pressure loss, only a few drips of coffee before it switches itself off. Cleaning sometimes helps or not using for a bit.

Solis SL-90 Been working fine for 8 years but suddenly will

Hi
Where are you located? There are a couple of things that will cause the boiler not to heat. The power board that you can replace your self if you are handy. Heating element that is a little more detailed but can be handled by a lot of people. You did not give all the details but do you have power at all? Could be the thermal fuse. Yes they are worth fixing compared to buying new. if you chose to repair also change the brew head gasket. That should be changed yearly or at least every 2 years.

Need a new water container

I bought a Solis replacement water reservoir from Green Beanery in Canada a few years ago. They sell replacement Solis parts, but I'm not sure if they still carry the water reservoir. I had a hard time finding online merchants who sold Solis reservoirs.

Leaks under pressure

Hi
Your brew head gasket is leaking and needs to be replaced. remove everything and turn the machine on its top. Look ate the brew head inside there is a black gasket and it should be clean and flat. If its cut or curled it needs to be replaced. Not cleaning the brew head will cause this gasket to be cut and after a while it will curl and not seal.
