If your washer fill, agitates, pumps out, but won't spin, then try this: Remove the front panel by using a putty knife to push in the clips at the top of the front panel at the seam with the washer top, about two inches in from the left and right sides. Pull the front panel forward and lift off from the bottom pegs. Now locate the clear tube at the left side of the tub. Pull it off, cut off an inch and a half, and put the hose back on. Test spin. What commonly happens is that gunk builds up in the end of that tube. The washer thinks it is still full of water because the air does not escape past the gunk, so the washer does not spin. Don't do this fix more than once or twice, as the hose will get too short. You can try to clean out the hose. This gunk build up is seen most often in machines which rarely see bleach. To help prevent this condition from reoccurring, every few months you can fill the washer to the smallest water level with hot water and add a few cup fulls of bleach. Run the cycle including the rinse before resuming your regular laundry.
