Question about Pioneer DEH-P2900MP CD Receiver /AM/FM/MP3/ CD Player
I install DEH-P2900MP with The Pioneer iPod Adapter (CD-IB100II), when I conect the iPod, I can see the iPod song names in the DEH-P2900MP screen, but no sound in the speakers. With all the others functions (aux, radio, cd) sounds OK.
On the radio and the adapter their is a spot for the cord that connects the two the ends have different colors on them it should be purple and black just make sure the colors are matched up if they are off it will still read all the info and say its playing but no sound will come out

Same here. The thing was working fine but cutting in and out, so i pulled it out and realised it wasnt earthed properly. Fixed that, then it was working for about a minute, but by the time i put the dash back together the sound had stopped, but still seems to be playing on the head unit. So i pulled it back out and cannot find the problem!
Thats is the answer. The color codes are OK, the names in the box are wrong.
