Whirlpool GHW9400 soap&bleach dispenser full of water after wash completion

After a complete cycle the soap and bleach dispenser is full of water. The machine washes great. If you were to pour the soap and bleach in on top of the water it would start the siphon and it would all run out. No service department has been able to fix it. This started after it was about 3 months old.

SOURCE: Fabric Softener Won't Dispense

The fabric softener dispenser is notorious for clogging. Liquid fabric softener is essentially a liquid form of wax. After a period of time it begins to gunk up the inside of the fabric softener dispenser. If you remove the dispenser drawer and look into the cavity, there should be a series of holes in the upper part of the compartment where water sprays into all the dispenser trays. These holes get gunked up and clogged and water will not dispense properly. As a result, the washer goes through a complete cycle, but the dispenser stays full. If this is the case, you can take some cotton swabs and/or toothpicks and clean these holes real good. It may be a bit meticulous, but it should take care of the problem. Post back and let me know if this helps.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Duet GHW9100L pours water out of the soap dispenser dra

probable cause is there is an article of clothing that is stuck between the outer and inner tubs, in the area where the dispenser water and detergent enter the machine. you can run your hand around the rubber boot and you might be able to remove the article, it will be in the upper left part of the machine. if nothing can be found than you have a plugged up dispenser hose.

SOURCE: Whirlpool duet washer leaking/pouring water out of

You could have a clog in the housing underneath the dispenser where the water flows through a hose into the tub.
Pull the dispenser drawer completely out.
There is a tab that needs to be depressed to release the drawer and remove it.
Check the opening at the bottom of the housing just inside the dispenser housing opening to see if a small sock or garment is clogging this opening.
Reach down into this opening to see if an item is inside the hose.
This is the normal issue that will cause water to leak out of the dispenser housing.

Wash the dispenser drawer thoroughly with warm water. Make sure that you pull off the siphon covers and wash all siphon holes. This process is described in your owner's manual. Replace the dispenser drawer and try the washer again.

Make sure there are no leaks from the machine. look behind it and check the water inlet hose and connectors for any damage. Also look under the machine for any water as this may indicate a leak from the internal hose and pipe work and / or water pump. Also check that the outlet hose is completely clear of debris and soap scum build up and check that the filter is clean.

To keep the machine clean of waste build up and to keep any bad odours away
1. Remove all items from the washer.
2. Open the dispenser drawer and 2/3 cup (160 mL) of liquid chlorine bleach to the bleach compartment. DO NOT use more than 2/3 cup (160mL) of bleach per cycle as this will lead to product damage.
3. Close the washer door and dispenser drawer.
4. Select the Clean Washer cycle or a full wash cotton 104 F wash (40 C). DO NOT use any higher temperature as this will cause unnecessary fumes
5. Press Start and allow cycle to complete.
6. After the cycle is complete, leave the door open slightly to allow ventilation and drying of the washer interior.
7. Repeat the cleaning procedure monthly

The pump on the Bosch WFB 2000 front loading washing machine doesnt seem to be pumping all the water out, it leaves about 40mm of water in the drum. It though pumps and seems to be working, as it does pump...

  1. Check the filter is clean.
  2. Check that the outlet pipe is completely clear of debris and soap / detergent scum.
If this does not cure the problem then it may be there is soimething trapped in the water pump or thst the pump is actually defective which will mean a new pump is required.

Bleach and Fabric Dispenser not working

Got a Brand new LG ~ WT5001CW toploader today. I did 2 loads of wash. Theres a Bleach Dispenser on the top left side but I didn't use it. In the middle of my 2nd wash I noticed the bleach dispenser was full of water. I thought well maybe after the rinse and the spin it would take the water out. Well when the cycle was complete the Bleach Dispenser was still full of water.
I took the Bleach dispenser out and checked the holes to see if anything was plugged, didn't look like it. Was wondering if anyone knew how to solve this problem or do you think that since I took the bleach dispenser out and put it back it that it might work for my next load ??
Any opinions will be greatly appreciated !! Thanks Much !!

Washer smell

the easy way it completely wash out a washer is by taking your soap dispenser out washing it and pouring bleach into the machine through the dispenser put on a full programme after it has finished you will have to put the washer on a full programme again with nothing in it and no more bleach this will flush the system out of the bleach so it should not stain your clothing but 1 other item you will need to check and that is your door seal if you close your door after each wash then what happens is it stays wet which gets moist on it a this starts to get mouldy and then starts to smell you will need to change your door seal, never close your washers door totally this will prevent this from happening again
