Hi, did you ever come up with a solution? The same thing just happened to me and I can find no schematics on the internet that tell me how to put it back together.

We replace locks? News to me!

Well heres a cleaning tip.

Brass will tarnish in weather and from hand oils, so if you want to clean them and have them shine again like new. Next time you boil peeled potatoes, save the water and using a plastic scourer apply the potato water to the brass and rub gently. Then finish off with a soft cloth

My unit started beeping continually, I changed batteries, but

Take out batteries and unplug powerstrip.
Let it sit for 1 minute, then put the batteries back in and wait another minute.

I contacted customer support... they tell me the FAQ information on their own website is incorrect. The opposite is true, therefore the following is correct:

If it does not beep, the powerboard needs to be replaced
If the unit continues to beep, the keypad needs to be replaced

Here in Canada, they will send you a new one within 3-5 days free of charge. Call customer support:

Yes I just had replaced batteries and when it tries to lock it beeps 3-4 times after locking what is that?

The 3-4 beeps after locking is a audible confirmation that the lock did in fact lock. It is strongly recommended to change the batteries in these electronic locks at once a year to keep them working properly. Think of it as another annual maintenance item to do once a year, along with changing the batteries in your home smoke detectors, etc.

Kwikset keyless entry is backwards

The config terminal is wrong. Take the cover off and move the 2 pin terminal over one pin.

I need to change my code on a kwikset model 907-l03 asap

Take the cover off on the inside.
A push the program button
B enter the desired 4-8 digit code
C push the lock button to set your code
D enter your code to insure it retracts the deadbolt
To enter a second code push the program button twice and repeat steps B thru D

I had the same problem. i called the company and they told me it was toast. if yours is fairly new, they should replace it for free. they will need some numbers of your lock so they can tell how old it is. if they will not fix it, i recommend getting a schlage be365, that is what i got when my kwikset quit working. i love it, and the batteries in it last a very long time because the power to turn the bolt is your hand, not a motor.
