When i try to put stuff into my sd card it keeps saying to insert disk but i already have the disk in there..

Click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you could see a yellow question / exclamation mark? ! or a red X

you will need to update/reinstall drivers

right click to reinstall drivers


if you can see your usb drive but its not working

ports (com&lpt) right click update driver if this fails to fix the problem


check the USB leads that attach to the motherboard usually red white green black make sure they are securely seated and have no dust build up on them dust will cause static and a lot of unforeseen problems for a computer and its parts

Your 8GB card is considered "high capacity". You will need an SDHC USB card reader to read it.

it could be that your phone does not support high capacity sd cards (SDHC). Check the users manual to see what types of cards it supports and if SDHC is listed.

if this card working on yours phone then this problem related with window operating system if card have problem with phone then this is relsted with card , formatt this card with phone and restore it by system restore s/w.

hi this might help, ime not sure but try it, take card out of phone and put it in sd slot on your computer if it has one, if it dose not read the card, then go into windows explorer then computer and see if it is there, if it is then right click on it then press properties this will tell you if the card has anything on it, if it has then press it to bring up the info on the card, pictures and music and all data, hope this helps you...

Please check the same card on different PC with update antivirus. If the response is same, then the problem is in the card. You must visit the service centre or go for new card.
