I have paid my subscription order 1644911126 dated 23 August but the Norton internet Security Subscription Renewal SPO55C7CB11 is out of date and I need an updated renewal No. to be able to complete the subscription renewal process.

Yes I did try contacting Norton but could get no response. The procedure for contacting is absurdly complicated and ultimately they do not reply to emails. Are you yourselves connected with Symantec/Norton? Can you not get this problem of mine sorted out?

Actually, only with a three way call..if you want to do that, award the fixya here, and then connect directly through the askme feature..i have been down this road, but a three way conversation is necessary, since you are the account holder..

To renew your suscription go to here:

https://renewalcenter.symantec.com/storefront/user/home.jsp;jsessionid=I0h9YAqATxk4XaltVfdnbsr62IXGfsjWXcGmZPecLybtVWPnqJnh!888266287

or Open your Norton, then go to "Your Account"

And Select the option "I have already paid my suscription, check my status"

You only need your registration email used the first time in order to get your already registered key.

Automatically renew my annual subscription

I would email them and make sure it doesn't automatically renew, In future i would uninstall Norton and go with something more reliable and stable. I use Avast! antivirus and it picks everything up. It would do just as much as norton and possibly more and best of all its free

My norton demand key before subcribtion

Use "Add/Remove Programs" to uninstall it, and then get FREE anti-virus software:
http://www.Microsoft.com/security_essentials
to replace the $$$$ that you are annually paying for your Norton subscription.

Remember to "cancel" your Norton subscription, so that they don't automatically charge your credit-card upon your renewal date.

I purchase norton subscription renewal on

Pro-tip: don't use Norton. It's system hog and expensive. Better to use a free antivrus and spyware monitoring program. There's lots available at filehippo.com. I'd recommend AVG antivirus.

Have renewed Norton anti virus for the next year Paid by credit card. Computer shows 'protection expired confirmation # NP11822299

when you have ordered the renewal, you should have received an email with a renewal code. Even if you have not received the email just go to the URL so that you can access your order and get the renewal code. (www.findmyorder.com or http://shop.symantecstore.com/servlet/ControllerServlet?Action=ContentTheme&Locale=en_US&SiteID=symnahho&ThemeID=106300&pbPage=OrderStatus&resid=S7XhpQoBAkgAADuUy8QAAAAb&rests=1270210979283)

once you have the renewal code, you can open the Norton program and click on subscription and follow the instruction.

Why is my renewal via my computer not valid-Visa has been charged

Email Norton and tell them your situation, they will tell you what to do to fix the problem seems like a problem that's more there doing than yours.
Or
  1. Start your Norton product.
  2. Do one of the following depending on your Norton product:
    • For Norton 360: Click My Account, and in the My Account window, click Renew Subscription.
    • For Norton 2009 products: At the top right corner of the window, click Help & Support > Subscription Status. Skip to Step 6.
    • For Norton 2008 products: In the bottom-left corner, click Subscription.
    • For Norton 2007 products: On the product tab, click Support, and then click Subscription.
    • For Norton 2006 products: On the Help & Support menu, click Subscription.
  3. Click I have already purchased a subscription, check my subscription status.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Click Next.
Your Norton product checks your subscription status. This could take a minute or two.
  6. Read the information in the Status check panel, and then click Finish.
Your subscription expiration date should now be correct.
If this helps you out, feel free to leave positive feedback. Thanks for stopping at Fixya !

Message says my subscription has expired? I purchased Internet Security from Nortons on 12/7/07 why has it expired? It appars I am no longer protected and do not understand why this is.

Most of the Norton antivirus comes with one year subscription. date u mentioned here seems like more then 1 year old. That's why it says expired
If you dont want to spend any more money on antivirus then uninstall this one and download AVG from this site. this is really good antivirus for free and good for ever.

Norton renewal subscription

the problem lies in the registry uninstall norton 360 then re-install this clears the reg then try your key again.

my personal View Don't use norton 360 as it will slow your system down use Kespersky Internet security this is the best one out and also use avg virus program when you switch to kaspesky internet security then remove avg which you can get a free version.
