Westinghouse LCD tv LTV-32W4 fades to black after 15 or so minutes of watching... I tried pointing a fan to the back of it with no luck. Is there any way to test this to see if it is worth ordering a part? I have experience taking computers apart, so I am not afraid to get into this if I have some direction.
First thing to find out is if its a video issue or your loosing backlights

Unfortunately this TV will not support 576i, the standard PAL resolution and therefor you will not be able to use a PAL TV tuner with it. The only other options are to use any HD device such as an HD TV set-top box or HD DVD player as these will connect to the TV via HDMI at an HD resolution, alternatively you could use your PC as a TV tuner (if it has a TV tuner inbuilt or attached) as your PC will send a VGA signal to the TV at 1360x768.

First you would have to get a service manual, this shows you all you need to know about the unit. Without it, it is very difficult to even remove the case. but once inside, it is basically a simple task, to find the drive, remove the fastenings, and the Cable, obtain an EXACT replacement HDD, and reverse the procedure, it may pay to format the HDD first, FAT32, I believe, although your manual will be more specific.
