Page 7 of the manual refers. The grind change will only work if you change it with the machine running and will take a while for the grind change to appear in the dispensed coffee. The quantity of ground coffee can be adjusted, and so can the amount of water mixed with the coffee and dispensed to the cup.
An espresso should take 25 seconds to dispense, long coffee takes longer unless you pour an espresso into 1/2 cup of hot water (or the other way round). It could be the grind is too fine hence extraction is proving difficult. Try making the grinder setting to more coarse. More info in link
Should set lower it will grind little finer and let espress under pressure absorb more ofbthe flavor, the corrsor it s the faster water flows through grounds, and less flavor.
Try adjusting the grind four numbers coarser and brew a coffee, if you are getting the same result then the brew unit is clogged and the screen needs to be cleaned.
it sounds like you need to go into the programing mode. in there you can set the machine so it grinds when you select coffee. at the moment it is pregrinding this is so you can make lots of coffees 1 after the other
Hi thedalys. you probably have a bad micro switch on your doser. and that just needs to be replaced. If the grinder does not sense that the doser box is full it will keep grinding until it times out.
Guest. Try pulling the dosage lever back one click from the full and push your grind lever to the largest # and see if that helps. Sounds like you grinds are too fine and its clogging the the grind box. If the dosage level is too full it will cycle and dump the brew unit or break the brew drive gears, then you will hear a clicking noise when it trys to make a coffee.
If you try to make a cup of coffee, hold the button to see if there will comes some coffee, it can be the memory that have loose the settings. If so you have to program the machine again.
