Trouble with connecting my Pioneer to the phone line.

If you are experiencing no audio output from your iPhone 12 Pro when paired with your Pioneer AVH2800bs, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Check the volume levels on both your phone and your car stereo. Ensure that the volume on your phone is turned up and that the volume on your car stereo is not muted or turned down too low.
2. Check your phone's audio output settings. Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics and make sure that "Change with Buttons" is turned on. This will allow you to adjust the volume on your phone using the physical buttons on the side.
3. Try disconnecting and reconnecting your phone to the car stereo. Sometimes a simple disconnect and reconnect can fix the issue.
4. Check if your car stereo has any firmware updates available. Visit the Pioneer website and search for your specific model to see if any updates are available.
5. Try using a different audio cable to connect your phone to the car stereo. The cable may be faulty or damaged.

If none of these steps work, you may want to try resetting your phone's network settings or resetting your car stereo to its factory settings.

Can not unless you just want to watch tv . Without tivo service it is pretty much just a large paper weight.

If the line is busy, there's a phone off the hook somewhere or there's a bad phone jack or line cord. If this is the only phone on the line, disconnect the AC power adapter from the base and also disconnect the battery in the handset. On both units, press a couple of buttons to drain off stored charge. After a minute or so, reconnect the battery and base power, and see if the line is free. Sometimes, especially in hot weather when lots of people using air conditioners or storms can cause power line glitches, the computer in the phone gets confused. This process resets everything and may clear up the trouble.

If you don't have another phone and the trouble continues after trying the reset, see if you can borrow another phone from someone for testing. If that fixes the trouble you need a new phone.

Your phone line itself might have a problem that is causing your phone service provider to think your line is in use. There may be water in the line or some other fault outside, or some problem on your inside wiring. (A friend had a problem after she plugged in a new phone, and it turned out one of the prongs in the jack had bent and was touching the one next to it. In another case, a phone jack that had gotten wet had corroded and was shorted.)

If you have other phones on the line, disconnect them all from their jacks. Reconnect one and see if the line is free. Then you can reconnect the others, checking each time. This will let you determine which one is causing the problem.

Search for a Tivo Series 2 IR cable on eBay. Any series 2 cable will work with the Pioneer.

Sounds more like a phone line problem than trouble with your phone. I suspect you have water in the line or some other problem that is causing trouble when the high ring voltage appears. Try disconnecting all phones and connect a plain old basic phone to one of your jacks. Better yet, if your house has a network interface jack on the outside, connect the phone there. Call your number and see if you still have the same trouble on the line. If so, call your phone company as the problem is in their wiring. If not, reconnect each phone in your house to see when the problem returns. Then you'll know which one is responsible.

I fixed it myself. Didn't realize that I loosened speaker cables on the wall panel when I moved the receiver and two were touching...

could be a few things , what have you tried to trouble shoot the problem ?
My steps would be ;
check all leads (even if you KNOW u pluged them in)
check the gain is set corectly .
check the line phono slectors are set to what ever you have you leads pluged into on the back of the mixer ( there is 4 red and white RCA plugs , 2 for phono,2 for line CDJs shold be using line )
if you are using digital cables to conect your CDJs , on the back on the mixer there is a small switch marked "CD or digital" make sure that is sleceted "digital " . if ur not using digital cables make sure it is on "CD" .
the info iv put here is based on the DJM-800 so your mixer my not have some of these featers as iv never used a 400 . hope this helps dued . check out www.djtutor.com for more tricks and tips . Pratices'N'enjoy !

Thinking the problem might be the cable box..I bypassed the Tivo and hooked the cable box direct...there was audio on ch. 3 ....reconnected the Tivo and the audio was fine...strange?

I believe that you are already on the right path, your tivo will still be assuming that you are running off the cable box plus you watch dancing with the stars for five minutes one time just to see Warren Sapp attempt to dance and now all of a sudden it wants to record every single piece of televison with dance in the title or discription, but I'm not bitter.

Just re-accomplish the set up and let it know that you are no longer running a cable box. Also tell it that ditching you friday night to hang with it's old high school buddies was so not cool.
