I would call Beals & Bobs @ 712-225-6173 or you can go to www.bealsmotor.com and email them and they will answer you questions and email an owners manual if you want. They have a service manual for these heaters at http://www.bealsmotor.com/heater.html and then click on the Desa manual that you need. The kerosene manual if for heaters with a spark plug and the Hot surface manual is for heaters with an ignitor.

You need to adjust the air shutter control on the open end of the burner.
For more information on your Reddy Heater and how to service it go to www.desatech.com Look for the Owners Manuals section and enter the Model Number of your heater. You can then download and print the entire Owners Manual.

I need a owners manual for my reddy heater 170t, how can I find one?

I think the actual model number for this is RL170AT

Plug it in runs fine for a few minutes and cuts off. unplug it for 10 minutes, plug it back in starts to run and cuts off.

If the unit runs for just a few minutes you could have a bad safety switch but you need to make sure you have the correct pump pressure.

Try putting your finger over the pump adjustment screw and see if you hear the heater become louder. If you do not hear a change in the sound of the heater you may have a problem with your end cover or pump pressure.

REDDY HEATER 40,000 BTU KEROSENE&DIESEL

Clean your nozzel, check your fuel & air lines, you may need to replace Spark plug and filters. You can go to the manufacturers website at www.desatech.com and they offer service manuals. I hope this helps you!

Where do I get a pc board?

Hi, you can get a PC board at the Manufacture for Reddy Heaters. Online with model, serial, and product number if available. Or, find a dealer close by who sales and service all types of these space heaters and I am sure they can order one if they don't have one in stock.See if you can get the number off of the board if you haven't removed it yet.

All reddy should have a label on the heater with their phone contact information. Isuggest calling them and asking them to send you all documentation on your heater.

Our Kohler dtv shower turns off on its own as soon as it reaches the set temperature. This started happening about 3 weeks ago. It takes forever to get hot then slowly increases the temp and the last 3 degrees it quickly jumps up to set temp and shuts off. Absolutely driving me crazy.
