First things to check is are air filter and exhaust. If there is signs of oil then the unit has been tipped and you will probably need to strip the cylinder head to sort it. Also check engine and pump oil levels and start the machine if you are allowed to. If it starts after a few pulls then you have a good chance of it being ok. White exhaust smoke is bad if constant as it is oil burning. Blue smoke isn't quite so bad as it indicates (probably) rich fuel/air mixture. Puff of white smoke that doesn't stay constant is also a sign that the machine may have been tipped at some time and it is just the oil residue burning of the cylinder head.

Pawn Shop deal for pawning an hp ProBook 4320s i3 laptop with windows 7 professional (used)

Pawn shops are skilled buyers, you can often rest assured knowing that the laptop was well inspected and tested before the pawn shop decided to accept it for loan or as a buy. For more information, visit at Electronics

Just bought a Eee PC 1000HA from a pawn shop, and when I charged it and turned it on, it goes to a bios screen that says at the bottom that the hard disk is locked. It ask's for user password or press ESC...

When buying things from a pawn shop, it is wise to check it out to see if it functions properly before you purchase it.
Hard disk passwords cannot be broken/hacked, and putting a new hard disk in the laptop may not work, this depends upon the BIOS password setup.
I suggest you try and return it and get a refund.

The charger for my Black and Decker PS130 power pack batteries just quit on me. Apparently, other folks have had the same problem so I don't want to replace it. I subsequently bought a Dewalt DW9118 but...

For the price a Dewalt costs, you can buy a few reconditioned cheap cordless drills and keep them all charged up. You will always have a standby. You can also check the pawn shops. With times like they are many people are getting rid of good stuff. You can find a great deat but always use a trustworthy pawn shop and get a receipt with the serial number on it. Theives like pawn shops, too.

if your talking about the main axle bolt then you can buy a breaker bar and a large socket but you still have to almost stand on the breaker bar or you can buy an impact wrench cheap at any pawn shop.
