When you recieve a file open it and then left click onto "options", then scroll down to "move", it will then tell you "select folder" then select your memory card. Mine does the exact same thing lol.

File receiving through bluetooth getting stored in phone memory

In general bluetooth files directly go to phone memory only after phone memory is over then files move to memory card(latest phones) automatically for ur mobile.
check whether you have any default memory option if you have make it as memory card.

Hi there i have nokia 6280 mobile.the problem is that these the memory card is asking for a password but i never set any password for memory card.thats why i can't open my videos saved in memory card.

Sir, in this case you have to format the memory. As for other Nokia Sets, it can be done via a code but in this phone it can't be done using a code. You have to do it by Flash or by JAF Flasher.

Can't save music to external memory

ive been trying for ages to do this and its so easy but no one seems to be explaining it easy! Your phone without the memory card only holds one or two songs. you must have songs in there for it to say memory full. Go to this song press options , file, move to extrenal. Now try and send a song through bluetooth. You will be able to recieve it now you have freed up spave on the phones own memory. Remember to save it to external straight away so u can recieve the next item. Easy peasy!

Nokia 6085 won't let me transfer files to my memory card

hi thanks for using fixya!

Usually, if you are going to received files via bluetooth it will ask you where you want to save the file, directly to memory card or phone memory, if the phone is not asking you, it is automatically will be saved in phone memory, you should check the phone's memory, that is why it is not accepting the transfer via bluetooth, Check the settings and make it saved to the memory card.

If you need further assitance, let me know!

Problem with Bluetooth Transfer

There is one easy solution for the second question: You can set your SGH-L700 to store your photos and/or videos on your memory card. Just go to Settings -> Application Settings -> Camera Settings. Go to the rightmost section using arrow keys and change camera's default storing location as memory card, instead of phone.

The bluetooth problem is not that easy. There is one solution if you send the files from your PC. Just browse your "Bluetooth Devices" from your desktop - your SGH-L700 will appear as an independent device. Double click it's icon, you'll see the folders in it, just like you're browsing your computer's hard drive. Open "Memory Card" folder then drag and drop the files you want directly inside it. I almost always prefer this way when I use bluetooth transfer.

If you try right clicking on a file on your PC and choose "Send via Bluetooth" from the context menu, SGH-L700 receives it directly to the phone memory. So I recommend using "Bluetooth devices" option and placing the stuff directly in the memory card, just like you copy items in any place on your hard drive.

But there is not a standart solution for sending a file from another cell phone to SGH-L700. Some devices can browse SGH-L700's folders like your PC does, but some of them can't - and they just send the files to the phone memory.

Can't get any music or files sent to my nokia3110 via bluetooth

Hi lizzy2,
I am sure i know its solution.
There are 2 types of data storages in mobile phones. One is phone memory and another one is MMC.
In NOKIA s60s, all files sent via bluetooth is sent to the inbox.
But ur NOKIA is type of s40. i Think, so ur all music or files sent to ur mobile via bluetooth is received in ur folder "received files" in phone memory in gallery !
I m sure check out ur folder "received files". 1st go to gallery, and see there r many folders such as sounds, video clips, memory card, received files, themes. Go to that "received files" folder, and there is ur required files.

Nokia 6280- phone doesn't save files

This could be causedby a number of reasons:

1) You do not have enough free memory on your phone (to check your memory status go to Gallery, open a file, click OPTIONS and select Memory Status)

2) Go to MESSAGING, MESSAGE SETTINGS, MULTIMEDIA MESSAGES, ALLOW MULTIMEDIA RECEPTION (Set to YES), and set INCOMING MULTIM. MSGS to RETRIEVE.
