I hooked up my router but it doesn't finish the setup

if u are not able to set it up using the CD just dont worry about it ... just start the router and scan the laptop for wifi routers select ur belkin and than click on start > run > type cmd a block window will open ... type ipconfig in that window ... write down the default gateway address and open the internet explorer and type that address it will ask u username and password ... put in the default user name password which is on the label on the back of the router and u will be able t access the setup page ... go ahead and configure it

Lost the install CD

hi,
it should be an ip conflict.I believe you are using both routers at same time which can give same ip address (as both routers ip range is same).hence by disconnecting one router(from network/power) will make your ip conflict resolved.
secondly there is no need of linksys installation cd as it will do more harm than good.routers dont need any software to run where as network adapters need drivers.if you have any further doubts ,you can directly post it.
thank you
