With no disc in the player
1) turn on.
2) press open key.
3) press 5168.
4) select rating.
5) select "adult" or whatever rating you would like.
6) select setup.

If you push the eject button so the little lcd screen says open then type in 5168 with your remote. This will take you to a special menu if you go down to ratings then hit enter you can choose the rating you want. Then hit setup to finish.
