I need a driver for my sipix pocket printer. the company site does not have it, and I can't find it on google. I also just bought an irda/usb device and the driver cd that came with it won't work. HELP. I now have two brand new pieces of equipment and no drivers for them.
how are you? Pls try the following to troubleshoot....
1. Remove all memory cards 2. Disable Wireless 3. Disable any infared device drivers such as a keyboard... 4. Under settings clear the checkbox under Beam. 5. Soft Reset 6. Install Pocket PrintCE Pocket Print CE 7. Soft Reset 8. Try to print if you can or cant continue 9. Soft Reset 10. Install Sipix driver 11. Soft Reset 12. Try to print if you can print wait a few days make sure its still working. Then when ready remove Print Pocket CE And....some info... Software The Pocket Printer uses a special version of IS/Complete's IrPrint. This allows it to print from all the built-in applications. I think it handles this in a very cool way. In order to print something, just launch the IrPrint application. This brings up a screen with large buttons to open any of the built-in apps. Tap on one of these and the actual application will be opened. You can do anything you would normally do in this app, plus each now has an "IrPrint" option added to its first drop-down window. Clicking on this will open the print driver.
That explanation might not be clear so I'll walk through an example. Say you have an Address Book entry to want to print. First, open the SiPix application and choose Address. This will open the Address Book app allowing you to look up the address you are interested in.This is the regular Address Book; you could add, edit, or delete any entry at this point. But instead you want to print one so you find it and open it. If you tap on the Menu silk screen button the Record drop-down box will appear. At the bottom of this drop-down box is a new entry: IrPrint. Tap on it. At this point, it is necessary to be pointing your palm's IR port at the Pocket Printer's. The Palm will spent a few seconds finding the printer then open a window of options.
Email me and I'll send you back the file I found but had to pay extra. Yours free. I have been able to get my printer to work on my desktop via cable and my laptop via IR but not on my Palm TX the main reason I bought the printer was for this device. OK try my email [email protected]

The instruction manual says you can download the latest drivers from
support pages on the SiPix and IS/Complete sites. When I checked, neither site had
these up.
Good luck try uninstalling the software then reinstalling you will have to go control panel and use uninstall.
Hope this helps these printers are great when you can get them to work a little slow but handy,
I have one of these printers. If you have the 32 BIT VERSION of vista, or 7 this printer will work via the serial RS232 port using the windows 2000 driver.
This driver does not work with the 64 bit versions of these operating systems. I don't know of any driver for 64 bit systems.
32 bit versions of Ubuntu do have a driver for this printer as of the 2016 version.
the Sipix A6 pocket printer uses these settings on the com port:
11520 Bits per second
8 data bits
no parity
2 stop bits
hardware flow control
I had this problem as well. I loaded the drivers for the USB to Serial Adapter and the drivers for the SiPix printer, left the adapter cable plugged in and rebooted my pc. After powering my PC back up I went back into the SiPix printer properties and another com port (5) showed up in the list of com ports. This was the port I needed and the printer woks great!! now your comport may be different depending on which USB port you have your SiPix connected to. This worked for me. Hope it helps you out!!
http://list.driverguide.com/list/company1355/ you will need to make a free account for this website. But they provide a good number of drivers. It is a handy account to have for the future as well.
SIDE NOTE: the 11'th one down
SiPix never had a Vista driver. Most new computers, like mine, do not have serial ports. Here is how I got my A6 working with Vista --
1. Purchase a serial to USB converter cable. (I got mine on Ebay for about $4.00.) Plug one end into the serial cable that came with the A6 and the other end into a USB port on the computer. Vista automatically picked up and installed the converter cable. In Device Manager, it shows up under Ports and gives it a com port number. Right click on the device and click on Properties. Click on the Port Settings tab and change Bits Per Second to 115200, Data Bits to 8, Parity to None, Stop Bits to 2, and Flow Control to Hardware per your A6 Owner's Manual. Click OK.
2. Now go to Printers in the Control Panel. Click to add a printer. Follow on screen prompts. Whe asked what port the printer is on, highlight whatever port the USB converter cable was assigned to. (In my case, Com 4.) When asked for the driver, direct it to the CD Drive where you have the A6 driver disk. Direct it to the Windows 2000 driver. If you try to use the XP driver, it will tell you it is the wrong OS. The 2000 driver will install. Your A6 should now be installed and show up in your list of printers.
My A6 now prints from any program or the internet using Windows Vista.
I also need the sipix driver for pocket pc
