Lost driver

If you have Vista or 10.5 leopard on mac there is no drivers for this printer - it is older and hp will not be developing any new drivers.

If you have another OS then click this link and then your operating system and download the most recent full feature drivers and software.

Can't install to Vista HP PSC 1210

Use Paint.
It's not ideal, but I can scan with my HP PSC 1205 running Vista when I use Paint. Just click 'file' then 'from Scanner or Camera'.
Works a treat.
