  • Unplug the dryer and pull it out from the wall.

Remove the top of the dryer by opening the door and taking out the screws along the top of the opening, then lifting the top. Remove the front of the dryer by reaching down into the opening at the top and taking out the screws holding the front in place. Move the front piece out of the way just enough so you can get to the drum inside, without disconnecting the electrical wires running from the front piece to the unit.

  • 3

Move to the back of the dryer and remove the screws holding on the small access panel at the bottom. Remove the panel. This will give access to the two pulleys holding the thin belt that runs around the drum. With your pencil and paper, draw a diagram showing exactly how the pulleys are strung. Then slip the belt off the pulleys so it's hanging loosely on the drum.

  • 4

Return to the front of the dry and pull the belt off the drum from the front. Put the new belt on the drum from the front, laying the ribbed side against the surface of the drum.

  • 5

Return to the back of the dryer and restring the belt through the two pulleys, using your diagram as a guide. Use your hands to manually turn the drum at least one full turn to make sure the belt is lined up.
    Things You'll Need

    • Screwdriver with multiple bits
    • Pencil and paper

Need to know the configuration for installing a new belt on a Whirlpool AWA9708 7kg dryer

your model number doesn't show up but all whirlpool belts go on the same way,put the belt under the idler pulley and then onto the motor pulley, you have to push the pulley back towards the motor and then loop the belt onto the motor pulley and you want the ribs to be down touching the drum
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFnXwmUb4f4

hope this helps and next time send the full model number off of the machine, just open the door to the dryer and look around the opening where you put the clothes in you'll see a tag with the full model number

The belt has come off my dryer and I'm tryint to put it back on, how do I get a digram of what it looks like when the belt correctly back in place?

It is something that you can repair yourself
You probably have a tensioner that has broken.
I am sorry but I do not have the Samsung routing available to me.
Below is a chart of the most common routing of dryer belts.
The part that has failed on your unit is probably the idler pulley/brackett.
You should be able to repair it without having to remove the drum
