Model 547. I can use everything else, but cannot read, send or look at any of the message setup. I have also tried 1122 and 0000 to restore factory settings and these codes do not work.

Hi there,
I would suggest that you contact your network provider with this issue. It should be an issue with the postpaid services for your account.
Good luck!
hi there, call the customer service of your service provider ( AT&T,Vodafone,Verizon etc)....they will set up message center number on your phone , the one that you have might be incorrect...your mobile operator will send you sim updates that will refresh the settings ....and then you will get the text message options cheers

It could be based on your location and the amount of service towers that are in your area. To send an MMS you need a good, strong connection. Try these first.
You need to set it to Vodafone in two places - first of all you need to
go into messages, then press your menu (top center) key, then go into
"inbox setup" or "message setup" (can't remember what it's called).
Then select MMS message setup, scroll down to the last option (which I
think from memory is called "server info") and make sure it's set to
use the Vodafone option.
This is in addition to making sure that "web sessions" is defaulted too.
Okay,
now both those options are set, give it another go. If it still doesn't
work, give the manufacturer a call - they'll also walk you through the settings
and make sure they're correct. There may be something at their end (on
your service) which they need to change to make it work.
G.a - what does this mean?
