Question about Akai LCT3201AD 32 in. LCD Television
I cracked open this TV how ever I do not see any weeping, leaking or burned capacitors. I have not popped out the power supply nor removed the heat sinks (where the problem may be) I just want to make sure this is the issue before i start to test cut and repair. Is this always the issue with this tv? Wheres the weak link on the power supply and where else are they on the TV?
thanks a head of time for your time.

I would bet on the power supply....these (and other Akai LCD) are notorious for filter capacitors. Look for electrolytic capacitors with a dome-like bulge on the top of them. They are usually located at the top of the power supply board where the power output lines run out.
Hpe this helps you out....
