Do you still have water down the bottom of the unit? Usually when you are hearing that pump noise that is from the drain pump and the reason it is constantly running is usually because there is an obstruction either blocking the hose or blocking the pump from evacuating all the water from the unit. This is a fairly common issue on all dishwashers. Remove the spinner on the inside of your unit and assure that there is nothing blocking the port exit hole. If there is not then you will have to de-install the dishwasher and pull the unit out and remove the drain hose to assure nothing is stuck inside the hose and at its connection point usually to the disposal under your sink. Remember to turn off the water as well as the power before you de-install. If you have any further questions message me back. I await your reply
Thank you,
Rick
After the wash the drain valve must be activated, the water is allowed to come
in to rinse and then finally the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off
all the water.
Make sure
that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check
the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the
valve or motor or pump.

Two problems with my unit: #1- the light/china cycle LED is always dimly lit. Unplugging the unit does not solve the problem. #2- the pump (at least I think it is the pump) does not shut off after a cycle. After a cycle the green light comes on and I can still hear what I think is the pump still running. Opening the door shuts both the light and pump off, then when the door is closed the light stays off but the pump comes back on. If I leave the door open for an extended period, then close the door the pump does not come back on. Anyone else ever seen these issues?
