I can't scan from my printer to Adobe Photoshop

The serial number comes with the product. If you're trying to pirate a copy, FixYa is not the place for it.

That doesn't make much sense.Adobe is actually the name of the software that develops the program Photoshop. There's no way you can update a name. What they probably meant or tried to tell you was that you need to update a certain piece or part of software housing an Adobe title and then you should be able to install Adobe Photoshop CS5.

to resolve it, close all the applications and programs and then start the installation.

Use the Adobe Photoshop for scanning.
Start the Adobe Photoshop Then go to file menu then Import from Scanner.
That its. One more HP also gives a default application for scanning. Use your driver cd & install that application.

1. you may use adobe photoshop to scan images..
2. on the menu, just click import then select the model of your scanner.
it will automatically open the scanning software if not, the default windows imaging software

Try cleaning the disc and / or making a copy of it....or you can sometimes just copy the files over to the computer and run setup natively.

Did you receive this software with a camera or printer as freeware? That version is probably not compatible with your version of the Mac Operating System or the CPU you are using, one of the two. In your basic menu you may have a program called Boot Camp. This emulates Windows. If you can launch that you may be able to install your program from there, just point to the Windows version of photoelements.

Version 2.0 is discontinued and there is no support or patches for it available at Adobe. See the Adobe Notice at the end of my relpy to you. This installer version you have cannot be fixed unfortunately since patches are not available.

TRy reloading printer driver if this doesnt work try to scan using adobe photoshop
