You mean the main relay cornect get burned up? my main relay not click when I turn the key on II then I change main relay but still the same, I check all wire in main relay cornect they all have power, I think I don't have enough ground in it, then I try to cornect derect outside ground to it then I see the check engine light on then it stay on but not off after 2 second and i hear the relay click only one but the fuel pump still not pump then I try to start but it still won't, still have no spark, then i try to read code from the ECU, but don't see any light on from the ECU. or ECM even i try change the ECU but still don't see anything change.

My 1997 acura integra shut off while driving. Now it won't start. It won't jump start. Before this, it would jerk like something clogging or wrong gear or power or gas getting blocked.

The most likely issue I have encountered with that model integra is the distributor or the main relay. The relay rarely causes it to shut off, usually causes issues with starting so I would check for spark and fuel pulse at the injectors. If either of these is not present then the problem likely lies in the sensors inside the distributor and requires replacing it. If I can assist further, reach me at https://www.6ya.com/thericepatch

91 acura integra start problem

Did you check the timing belt timing? Engines need 3 things to start. Spark, fuel, compression.

Take out the main relay and check the solder joints.
Reheat the solder joints if you see any tiny cracks.
You can also buy rebuilt main relay from eBay.

If the main relay does not solve the problem, you will need to check the distributor. Open the distributor cap and the rotor and see inside and make sure there are no oils leaked from the bottom side of the distributor through oil seal. Replace the distributor with a rebuilt or new one. There are many distributors listed at eBay.

Doesn't start

To put it simply it's either spark, fuel or compression. If the timing belt is okay (not broken or timing marks don't line up) and you have spark, you need to make sure you have clean gas and not water (from condensation) or air being sprayed out the injector nozzles. Try using quick start spray or even pouring some gas down the trottle body and see if it starts. If it does then check the relays, pump and lines. I've seen pin hole leaks in lines that caused symptoms similar to vapour lock. Check the
Main EFI relay (it's under the dash near the brake pedal) they usually stop working when the car is parked in the hot sun. Sometimes leaving the doors open, or pushing the car into the shade so it can cool down, will get the car to start again. I would get a distributor and a Main EFI relay from a junkyard. Because it's too expensive just swapping in new parts, and it's always a good idea to keep a spare distributor around as they are known to go bad on old Integra's.

Car will just turn over no spark, i replaced the distributor, ecm, battery, but can't find the main relay would that cause the problem

Hi. You may wanna try to change the ignition transformer. A good way to troubleshoot is to unplug the cable from the distributor cap end and hold the cable a half inch away from the chassis or the engine head cover and try to strart the engine. If you see a sparl coming from it from the cable, the ignition works. if not, change it. Hope this works for you.
