Logitech Channel Mix Up PROBLEM

I have bought the Logitec X540 from Futureshop 2 yrs ago. It worked fine outa the box. It worked fine for 2 years, until yesterday. I installed a scanner and a colour laser printer, and had to rearranage everything ( cables, peripheral positions, etc). I unplugged all the cables, moved the machines, and plugged everything back in. I turn on my computer and everything but the audio was fine. I tried looking at the colours, seeing if I plugged the right cable into the right channel. ( I did ) I tried rearranging how i plugged in the cables. (did not work) The rear left and rear right played sounds that the front left and front right speakers are suppose to play. ( BTW I have a Creative Sound Blaster Extreme Music Sound Card, and that I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled the drivers ; ran the diagnostics n everything was a-okay) In my diagnostics I clicked on the front right speaker symbol, and instead of the front right speaker playing, my rear right speaker played, same goes for my front left speaker. The center and front left and front right dont play when they are suppose to ( I click on rear left and rear right and center symbols, and instead of those speakers playing sounds, they dont)

RECAP:

Rear right and left physical speakers playing what front right and left speakers are suppose to
Front right and left and center are not playing ne thing
Rear right and left speaker symbol, when clicked on, produced no sounds from REar right and left physical speakers
Subwoofer Works

I have Win XP SP3

SOURCE: logitech speakers will only play on 2 speakers not 5

Liamog, i bought the exact same speakers and sound card, and i had the exact same problem as you. I tried for days to fix it and it turns out that its only a setting you have to enable in your sound card settigns. If you go into your EAX console for your creative sound card you will find a thing that sams CMSS 3D, and all you have to do is select the button that says Enable CMSS 3d surround. I hope this will fix your problem. Alex.

Goodday remmember that you have to have a 5.1 sound card to be able to use a 5.1 sorround sound system.the 5.1 has more plug inputs to plug all the speaker FRONT REAR and SUB.

Uninstall your current webcam software
Disconnect your webcam.
Restart your computer
visit the website - identify and click on your cam ( older models on page 2 )
Select your OS and download the software.

VX Revolution Cordless Mouse for Notebooks dead as a door nail...

I see no reason that the mouse should not work. They have the Xop driver and the install software. Download both and also read henote that they are talking about in. red. I didn not download it myself. If this doesn't work you can get a common PS 2 mouse for a small amount  most anywhere including Walmart.

We have a Toshiba TP50H95/TP55H95 Color Stream Projection TV that is 10 years old and we recently switched cable companies. Since then the picture is not filling the screen completely on bottom or on top...

A to expensive to fix part is going on the projector. Suggest you get a new one. I've owned 3 projectors over the years. The best one is a Viewsonic 7820hd. 3000 to 3200 lums brightness, short throw lens (104" screen at 12 feet from the projector) 1 HDMI input 1 RCA input 1RGB input and 2 computer inputs. Price varies- but I got mine at Tiger Direct 3 yrs ago for $488 bucks- the Viewsonic 7822 (2 HDMI inputs) is on the Viewsonic website on clearance or refurbushed for around that price. AND- They do a full 1080 HD and also 3D.

1 channel only has no audio.

I believe you have cable box right?
Most of the cases if you are getting audio except channel 11,it could be a cable box problem.you can swap the box to another tv and check..

Good luck

Keyboard

I bought a refurb EX110 from woot.com a year ago... Everything worked fine for a year (XPx32), but now the home keys (sans G and H) do not work: ASDFJKL;

New SetPoint software, batteries, blew out with 100PSI of air, tried on several PCs -- all the same results.

These are just poorly made keyboards. They have fine ergonomics, but the soft components just don't stand the test of time.

They carry a 5 year limited Logitech warranty (when purchased new w/ proof of purchase), so instead of jacking around with them I'd just goto logitech.com and initiate an RMA.

As for me, I've started the process, but don't know if they'll take back my 2 year old keyboard that I spent $25 for from a discount site...

Loss of sound to Logitech Z560

I repaired Z-560 speakers with a defective left front channel by chopping off one of the input leads close to the 3.5 mm stereo jack that goes into the PC and joining on the leads from a new one. At first I thought the fault lay in the main amplifiers in the sub woofer unit but I was wrong and it turned out to be far simpler to fix than I anticipated.
